why was the fact that Neytiri cheated on Tsu-Tey not more important?
they basically were set to 'bond' with one another

Im not sure. It definatly was not a very important theme in the movie so they probably left it out. Jake and Neytiri were literally together most of the movie and I'm guessing that created an ultra stong bond between them, and you know the rest...

I dont believe Neytiri was cheating at all. If you think about it Na`vi have the same kind of feelings like humans and they should have the choice wether royal or not to choose who they want to bond/mate with. I say right on! to Neytiri, I think Jake is way better then Tsu-Tey. And if it werent for Neytiri creating a bond with Jake, humans and Na`vi would never be any closer then what Grace did through the school with the Na`vi. In a sense Jake and Neytiri's bond will affect generations of humans and Na`vi to come, changing the way they treat each other and creating their own 'multicultural' society on Pandora. Well that's my opinion anyway. ^_^

Ooo, read it last night.. and loved it!
Wish I had a Jake Sully! haha
I like her idea as to what may have happened when they were sleeping! (Alas, Jake would have already been back in human forms though right?)
Is it true that the phosphorescent spots do rearrange and align themselves so that they'll be identical to their mate?.. Soo cool!
I don't think they would have had time to explore what might have happened with Tsu'tey... That and probably the fact that it wasn't a significant event in the plot..

Haha, I love this story because it gives you so much more additional depth to the film and its told from Neytiri's POV.

Yeah it's great! I like it too, I think it would be really good to hear it from Jake's POV.
Are the different concepts posed by her based on fact (James Cameron Avatar fact?)?
Like the phosphorescent dots changing formation? If it is it's pretty cool. I like the idea either way.

Yeah, Jake's POV would of been great to read too. And as far as the phosphorescent dots re-aligning, i'll have to watch the movie very closely in that part to see if that's a fact or just a great idea.

lol
I say both xD

Yeah, I totally agree!
They were 'promised to each other' right? Which might be why some consider it "cheating".

Yeah both you guys are completely right. (pathfinderdeepak and Niri'te) Jake and Neytiri were "destined" for each other. And I do agree, Jake would of been a much better mate to Neytiri than Tsu-tey would of been and Tsu-tey wouldn't be as caring either.
